NFCAA's 2017 Annual Award and Recognition Luncheon


The Board of Directors and staff of the Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, Inc. (NFCAA) are currently planning for the organization’s 4th Annual Awards & Recognition Luncheon.  The luncheon will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront located on 225 East Coastline Drive.

In Fiscal Year 2016, NFCAA assisted more than 18,000 low-income individuals in its seven-county service area.  With 50 years of experience, NFCAA remains committed to establishing mutually beneficial partnerships that connect families to available resources, stabilize vulnerable households, and promote healthy families and communities.  NFCAA’s services include the following: 

  • Assisting families with paying utilities bills;

  • Providing summer employment and training opportunities for youth;

  • Helping families obtain and maintain stable housing to prevent homelessness;

  • Providing a Family Self-Sufficiency Program that connects families to education and training resources that lead to employment;

  • Weatherizing homes to reduce energy bills; and

  • Leading community revitalization efforts in the North Riverside area of Jacksonville.
